Replacing an Inkjet Printer on a Newspaper Inserter

Save Thousands of Dollars with an Inkjet Kit

When your existing inline inkjet printer needs replacing, you can save thousands of dollars by keeping the existing inkjet's conveyor.

We recently installed a Thermal Inkjet Kit onto a customer's existing inkjet conveyor they purchased from another vendor years ago. While the conveyor is on its last leg, the customer plans to replace it soon and move the Thermal Inkjet Kit to the new one.

The Thermal Inkjet Kit is an ideal way to save money and get full use of existing conveyors or transports. We installed the inkjet printhead in the photo below and mounted it to their existing vacuum conveyor.

A typical installation takes less than a day, including operator training,  minimizing downtime.

The inkjet in the photo above includes a 1.5" Thermal Inkjet Printhead (TIJ), Inkjet Controller, Inkjet Encoder, Trigger Sensor, and Inkjet PC and Software. This installation allows the customer to print up addresses up to 1.5" high.

Some of our favorite features of the Thermal Inkjet Kit are below:

  • Super-fast startups and shutdowns (1-2 minutes)
  • Almost Zero Maintenance
  • Economically Priced
  • Real-Time Production Calculator
  • Modular
  • Mobile
  • User-Friendly Software
